Bequests – Top challenges faced by Bequest Fundraisers.

An interactive learning lunch for all fundraisers working in the Bequest space. Your chance to participate in a practical and open discussion.

Facilitated by Karen Miller, Bequest & Donor Relations Specialist at the Heart Foundation who will lead an interesting panel discussion that will explore some common challenges encountered by Bequest Fundraisers. The panel will represent experienced fundraisers from large charities and fundraisers who are newer on the scene and working for smaller charities. Hear from panellists Rosemary Ledingham, Gifts in Wills Manager, World Vision (FINZ Fellow) and Lisa Talbot, Project Coordinator at The National Foundation for the Deaf – to name just two of several.

Struggling with Legacy Culture / Resources / Lack of time / Structure / National programme versus local delivery? We know what our trials and tribulations are … What are your top issues? Book now and let us know your questions when you register – we’ll share them at this event and we can thrash out some possible solutions.

Key learning takeaways:
• Strategies to widen the conversation and overcome ‘fear’ surrounding legacies
• Ideas for developing a legacy culture in large and small charities
• Getting your resources and structure right
• Donor Surveys: Top tips for finding Bequest Prospects and then coping with the “follow up”
• Successful supporter events and ways to keep Bequestors engaged over time

Don’t miss out. Book today!

Who should attend? Fundraisers at all levels working for small, medium and large organisations. However, this is not “Bequests Training 101”, we’d like to see participation and engagement with the issues. We hope you will come ready to share ideas and what’s working for you and what’s not. Best practice often comes when there is a spirit of collaboration. Thanks for your help to make this Learning Lunch fun, fresh and fantastic!
