Jim Datson, FFINZ

Jim began his fundraising career over 30 years ago, with experience in leadership, team management, governance and problem-solving. He has had extensive involvement in bequest management and administration, including management of Wills that have been contested. Most recently Jim was the National Fundraising Manager of St. John, where he increased revenue from $25 to $35 million over a for year period. Jim has also undertaken bequest promotion both at an organisational level and at a donor level. Jim is a founding Trustee of Include A Charity.


Being a successful charity - a half day governance workshop

Jim will be presenting a half day workshop on good governance training for charity trustees and community groups. So practical, so helpful including role play and case studies.

A successful organisation doesn’t happen without a lot of understandings, planning, organisation, people, promotion and money.

Starting with your organisation’s vision, you will learn what’s required to deliver against this vision and how to plan, manage and balance your programme delivery with the demands of your organisation, all within your limited resources.
